Glucose Intolerance

Glucose intolerance (also known as impaired glucose tolerance or IGT) is a metabolic condition in which the body cannot absorb or metabolize sugars from carbohydrates sufficiently.

IGT is sometimes called prediabetes and can lead to type 2 diabetes, kidney failure, polycystic ovary syndrome, stroke, blindness and cardiovascular disease risks.
